   Vals AI tested 25 AI models for alignment with Chinese government positions. Chinese models answered less uniformly than expected, Western models sometimes echoed Beijing, and the prompt language had a strong effect.

   Stability AI secured significant new investment from a group of investors and appointed Prem Akkaraju as CEO. The company had earlier released Stable Diffusion 3 Medium as an open model.

   Bedrock adds OpenAI models and cross-region inference in GovCloud

   Amazon Bedrock now supports OpenAI GPT-5.6 models in AWS GovCloud (US) across several APIs. It also introduces Cross-Region Inference, giving customers higher throughput and redundancy without manually managing capacity.
